Your best asset for retirement savings is your income…unless you spend all your income paying debt.  So you want to avoid debt like the plague!  Too many women are taking on too much debt – getting buried under the debt which can feel hopeless.  The best solution is not take on debt in the first place (i.e. pay with cash, use debit cards, avoid credit cards and loans).  If you have debt (i.e. student loans, credit card, etc.), then develop a budget and reduce your expenses so you can pay off your debt and gain financial freedom.
