2Focus On What You Eat And Drink
You don’t want to go to bed hungry or too full, as both cause discomfort that can interfere with sleep. Also, limit fluids within a couple of hours of bedtime to avoid having to get up during the night and breaking up your sleep. Pay special attention to avoid stimulants such as nicotine and caffeine too close to bedtime. Another caution is alcohol. Although alcohol may make you feel sleepy, it can disrupt your sleep later in the night and be counterproductive to a good night’s sleep.
